Job Opportunity: CSN Training Manager

On the lookout for a great opportunity? The Coastal Stewardship Network (CSN) is seeking a Training Manager to provide support and oversight for the CSN training program.

Reporting to the CSN Program Manager, the Training Manager will operationalize the CSN training strategy; secure new funding to develop and deliver trainings, including reporting and setting/tracking budgets; oversee the development, delivery and evaluation of training and professional development programs and workshops; and oversee other training projects.

About the Contract

  • Position Type: Part-time (3 days/week) 1-year contract (Contract renewal possible depending on funding and capacity.)
  • Start Date: Anticipated start date is October 1, 2024.
  • Compensation: Within the range of $60/hour.
  • Location: Remote, preferably located within BC.
  • Requirements and Travel: Access to a computer, reliable internet and phone service. This position may require some travel to locations in Vancouver, Port Hardy, Central Coast, North Coast and Haida Gwaii. Expenses for travel within BC will be covered.
