As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, Coastal First Nations recognizes and celebrates the friends we’ve made along the way.
In our commitment and passion to protect our lands and waters, we’ve reached out to a diverse group of allies and governments. We’ve worked together to protect species, stop oil tanker traffic on our coast, reach reconciliation agreements and put in place plans for one of the largest marine planning areas in the world. Our allies have cheered us on as we built the world’s largest Indigenous forest carbon project, protected more than half of our Great Bear Rainforest territories and launched sustainable businesses such as Coastal Shellfish Corporation – North America’s largest scallop hatchery.
Our CFN leaders recognize the importance of establishing collaborative partnerships that bring value to the work we do together. We thank our partners and allies for their commitment, expertise and dedication in supporting our vision. And we look forward to the next 20 years together!
