CFN-GBI has been supporting members of the Nuxalk Nation in sharing their knowledge and expertise of how to build energy efficient, culturally appropriate homes on the wet west coast. We are proud to share these videos that describe some special aspects of the design and construction of our buildings, and our youth video to share how we can all combat moisture in the home. And stay tuned — the Nuxalk Nation housing initiative will be on ATPN this fall, and there will be a visual specification coming out soon to support other First Nations on the wet west coast to design and build homes that suit our unique climate.
