Coastal Residents Urge Tourists to Stay Home: Sorry, We Are Closed

With the long weekend set to begin, residents of coastal communities have a clear message for those looking to travel to their area: “Sorry, we are closed. Stay home.”

Many are concerned that tourism traffic will increase in these areas despite COVID-19 travel restrictions, so Coastal First Nations has responded to a request from communities to create a social media postcard that can be used to deter visitors.

Please help us spread the word to protect your community!

Download the postcards below and share widely, tagging your friends, contacts and groups, along with a simple message: “Coastal communities are closed to non-residents. Help protect our communities. #StayHome #SaveLives”
