CFN-GBI is seeking a Marine Protected Area Network (MPAn) Process Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
The MPAn Process Coordinator (Northern Shelf Bioregion) will work closely with the collaborative First Nations-federal-provincial Marine Protected Area Technical Team (MPATT) and its co-chairs to develop and implement an efficient and effective process for completing a MPAn Action Plan for endorsement by the various governments and organizations participating in this process.
This position will be responsible for mapping out key process steps, integrating different streams of work into a shared work plan for MPATT, shepherding MPATT through the work plan and tracking progress on necessary actions, and identifying process issues and recommended solutions for discussion and resolution.
This position is expected to require a time commitment of approximately 4 days/week, although this may be flexible depending on the candidate’s level of experience advancing similar work.

The successful contractor is expected to work from their own office and to provide the equipment necessary to conduct this work, including a computer and software, wireless access, and cell phone.
